Appleseed and the Grammys

 

 

Our artists and their CDs have received numerous national and regional awards and tributes from a variety of musical, sociopolitical and retail organizations, and we’re proud of every one of them. In the highest profile music industry awards, the GRAMMYs, presented by the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences, our releases have reached finalist status ten times, and the winner of our three 2008 nominations for "Best Traditional Folk Album" was Pete Seeger's At 89.

Two of our artists have also been awarded Lifetime Achievement Grammys -- Tom Paxton (in February 2009) and Pete Seeger (in 1993).
